Onysoft AI Gateway Developer Support Program: 30,000 TRY in Credit for Developers in Türkiye

7 min read

The Onysoft AI Gateway Developer Support Program is a support program that gives a total of 30,000 TRY in usage credit to developers building products with AI in Türkiye. The credit is distributed among 14 developers in three tiers, is valid for 6 months from the date it is loaded, and can be spent on Claude models and :tr models. Applications open on 1 November 2026 and close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59; results are announced on 1 December 2026.

The quietest obstacle to turning an idea into working software is the cost of trying. As the model bill grows the number of experiments falls; as experiments fall the product stops improving. The only purpose of this program is to remove that obstacle, so that developers building in Türkiye can keep working without being blocked by model costs. Not a contest — support.

In this article we cover who can apply, how the credit is distributed and where it is valid, the timeline, the criteria applications are scored against, and how to apply step by step. The full details are in the Program Rules and Participation Terms; this article is a readable summary of that document.

Why Does the Program Exist? Supporting Developers Building in Türkiye

The starting point is simple: if you are building something with AI, we do not want model costs to stop you. That is why the program gives credit that is spent directly on model usage rather than cash, and it rests on three principles:

  • Experiment first, count later: The credit is loaded as a balance onto an Onysoft project opened in your name. Try prompts, compare models and debug without worrying about the bill.
  • Priority for building in Turkish: Projects that work in Turkish, serve users in Türkiye and handle data with KVKK in mind receive additional points in the evaluation.
  • Support for real work: We are looking for something that works, not a pitch deck. Even a small running demo, a repository or a screen recording matters more than anything else.

Because the budget is limited we do have to rank applications, but the setup is not a contest. We talk to every applicant, we publish the criteria and their weights up front, and we give each applicant who asks the scoring rationale for their own application.

Who Can Apply?

No large team or funding is required; the only thing we look for is something that actually works. The following can apply:

  • Independent developers with a working product, prototype or public repository
  • Students and student teams
  • Small teams of a few people and newly founded companies
  • Maintainers of open source projects
  • Projects built in Türkiye, working in Turkish or serving users in Türkiye

There are a few requirements:

  • An Onysoft account with a verified e-mail: The application form lives inside your dashboard and is only shown to signed-in users. If you do not have an account, you first need to create a free account and verify your e-mail address.
  • One account, one period, one application: An Onysoft account may submit only one application per application period; this rule is also enforced technically.
  • One application per team: One person applies on behalf of the team and the credit is loaded onto a project opened in that person's name. Multiple applications for the same project are not accepted.
  • Onysoft employees and their immediate family members may not apply.

Credit Tiers: 30,000 TRY in Total for 14 Developers

A total of 30,000 TRY in usage credit is distributed among 14 developers in three tiers; 2,000 TRY is set aside as an evaluation reserve:

TierRecipientsCredit per personTier total
First tier17,500 TRY7,500 TRY
Second tier33,500 TRY10,500 TRY
Third tier101,000 TRY10,000 TRY
Evaluation reserve——2,000 TRY
Total14 people + reserve—30,000 TRY

Onysoft decides how the evaluation reserve is used; it may not be distributed at all. In the application form you enter a credit request between 1,000 and 7,500 TRY. The request is not binding; the evaluation determines which tier you are placed in.

What is given is not cash but a balance valid for model usage on Onysoft. The program creates no employment relationship, partnership or investment, and no right, licence or transfer of ownership is requested from you in return.

Where and for How Long Is the Credit Valid?

The credit is loaded as a balance onto an Onysoft project opened in the name of the selected developer; you see the project's API key in your dashboard. The credit is spent at the list price in effect in the dashboard.

  • Claude models: The Claude models from the Onysoft catalogue that are on your project's allowed list. The list is communicated to you.
  • :tr models: The Turkish models with the :tr suffix on the allowed list are also covered; once these models are priced, your credit is spent on them too. Selected developers are given a raised :tr request limit for the duration of the program.
  • Requests outside the list are rejected: The allowed model list is an exact match. A request for a model that is not on the list is rejected and nothing is deducted from the balance.

Term and limits: The credit is valid for 6 months from the date it is loaded. When the term ends, any remaining credit can no longer be used.

  • The credit cannot be converted to cash.
  • The credit cannot be transferred to another account or person.
  • The credit is not refundable and cannot be set off against another payment.
  • When the balance is exhausted requests are rejected; the balance does not go negative.

When the term ends no data is deleted: your project and usage records stay as they are, and only new requests are refused.

Timeline: Apply in November, Results on 1 December

The form is closed outside the application window; applications submitted outside this period are not accepted. Any change to the timeline is announced on the program page. For selected developers, the 6-month credit term starts on the date the credit is loaded onto the project.

How Are Applications Evaluated? Five Criteria, 100 Points

Applications are scored out of 100 against five criteria. We publish the criteria and their weights up front so that the scoring holds no surprises:

  1. Is the project real (30 points): A working demo, an accessible repository or a screen recording. Something that runs, not an idea.
  2. Do you actually use Onysoft (25 points): Calculated automatically from your own usage records: request count over the last 30 and 90 days, active days, model variety and spend.
  3. Growth potential (20 points): Clarity of the need, evidence of a team and of execution, a measurable goal within 6 months.
  4. Türkiye context (15 points): A Turkish product or interface, use of :tr models, KVKK-aware work.
  5. Feedback and visibility (10 points): A commitment to regular feedback, agreeing to be a case study, public sharing.

The second criterion is not entered by hand. Your application is reviewed alongside the usage records of your account, and the figures are calculated automatically from our own records. If you have no usage you score 0 on this criterion and are still evaluated on the remaining 75 points. We weighted it towards consistency rather than volume; generating artificial traffic right before applying does not help, is flagged, and is prohibited under the rules.

If scores are tied, the higher first-criterion score, then the higher second-criterion score, then the earlier submission date takes precedence.

Interview: Every applicant is interviewed during November, by phone, video call or in writing. Expect to walk us through your project and to be asked what you will spend the credit on. An applicant who does not respond to two invitations is excluded from the evaluation. Scores are finalised after the interview; the scores and their rationale are recorded, and each applicant who asks is given the rationale for their own application.

How to Apply, Step by Step

  1. Create an account and verify your e-mail: If you do not have an Onysoft account, create a free account. A verified e-mail address is required to apply.
  2. Read the documents: You can read every document you will accept during the application in advance. The required ones are the Program Rules and Participation Terms and the Privacy Notice (KVKK); the optional ones are the Case Study and Reference Permission and the Explicit Consent and Commercial Electronic Message Permission. All of them are on the program documents page.
  3. Fill in the form: The application form lives in your dashboard (/dashboard/gelistirici-programi/basvuru; you need to be signed in). It asks for the project name and summary, the project address, optional repository, demo and screen recording links, the project stage, the target audience, the models you use or plan to use, the expected monthly request volume, the credit you are requesting, why you want the credit, whether your product is in Turkish, and your phone number and province; the KVKK/data context and additional note fields are optional.
  4. Submit and follow up: When you submit, a confirmation e-mail is sent to your account's e-mail address, and you can follow the status of your application on the same page.

No file uploads are needed; a working link is enough. The addresses you provide are not visited by our servers; they are opened by a human during the evaluation, and only http and https addresses are accepted. Even a two-minute screen recording is enough to show that the project is real. Writing down what you will do with the credit within 6 months as a measurable goal also helps your case.

Rules and Your Rights

The rules are short and clear; the full text is in the Program Rules and Participation Terms:

  • The credit is spent only on the allowed models and only on the project described in the application.
  • The program key cannot be shared, sold or rented, and the credit cannot be resold to others as model access through an intermediary service.
  • False statements in the application, or presenting someone else's project as your own, are prohibited.
  • In case of misuse the credit is cancelled and the project is suspended.

Your rights are just as clear. All rights in your project, source code and data remain with you; the program transfers no rights. Case study and reference permission is optional; unless you give it, your name and project are not shared publicly. Application records are kept indefinitely, so that the basis of a credit decision always stays demonstrable. Your erasure requests are assessed separately under articles 7 and 11 of the KVKK; how your personal data is processed is explained in the Privacy Notice (KVKK).

If you are building something with AI, tell us about it. All program details are on the Developer Support Program page; the application form is in your dashboard from 1 November 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Onysoft AI Gateway Developer Support Program a contest?

No. The purpose is to support developers building in Türkiye. Because the budget is limited we do have to rank applications, but the setup is not a contest: we talk to every applicant, we publish the criteria and their weights up front, and we give each applicant who asks the scoring rationale for their own application.

When do applications open and when are results announced?

Applications open on 1 November 2026 and close on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 (Türkiye time). Interviews take place during November, and results are announced on 1 December 2026. The form is closed outside the application window.

Can I receive the credit as cash?

No. What is given is not cash but a balance valid for model usage on Onysoft. The credit is valid for 6 months from the date it is loaded; it cannot be converted to cash, transferred to another account or person, or refunded, and any balance remaining at the end of the term can no longer be used.

I do not have a working product yet. Can I apply?

You can, but you will score low on the first criterion (is the project real, 30 points). Even a small demo, a public repository or a two-minute screen recording makes a difference.

I have never used Onysoft. Do I stand a chance?

Yes. The Onysoft usage criterion is 25 of 100 points; an application with no usage scores 0 there and is evaluated on the remaining 75. Because the weight is on consistency rather than volume, generating artificial traffic right before applying does not help; such traffic is flagged.

Which models can I spend the credit on?

Claude models and :tr models. Exactly which models are covered is set by the allowed model list defined on your project, which is communicated to you; a request for a model that is not on the list is rejected and nothing is deducted from the balance. Once :tr models are priced, your credit is spent on them too. Selected developers also get a raised :tr request limit for the duration of the program.
